Central Europeans learn to swim and cycle before they can walk (my opinion!) - and thats pretty apparent when you see how
popular the bike is as a form of transport, as well as fittness in Germany. Drivers tend to be cyclist-friendly and the infrastructure ensures that cyclists can get away from the
main roads into the nature.
I’m a weekend biker, and there is seldom a weekend in Spring, Summer or Autumn when I don’t get out for a spin on the
bike.... sometimes over 100km in a day.
